Prior to making this video, I wrote a literature review on the impact of social media on Hispanic and Latinx Americans in a span of 7 years. This was important to look into, as I may end up working for a company that caters to the community. 

After writing the literature review, it then had to be put into a minute long video, in the style of a TikTok. Due to it being a short form video, I had to use a hook in order to grab viewer’s attention. I also had to highlight the points I felt would be most interesting, while also using visuals to help get the point across. While it was difficult to pick out which points to highlight, thinking about what the audience would want to learn and most likely wouldn’t know helped. This taught me a lot about making content for a specific audience in mind, while also taking something as large as a research paper and condensing it.
