Narration

Students had to create posts for a social media platform such as X or Instagram, for a company of their choice. I decided to look at Lost Our Home, a pet rescue center, and make mockup X posts for them. Studying their X and Instagram profile allowed me to get a sense of how they write and format their posts. It also showed how often they post and incorporated that into the mockups. Since the company’s X account was not used as often as Instagram, I decided that the account could serve as a way to bring more reach to their Instagram page by correlating the posts. Canva was used to create new graphics that also incorporated the brand’s colors, to add some visuals to the posts. Just like the short videos pitches assignment, this helped me see how it might be to plan out a month’s worth of content.
